I have come a long way so far and so close to completing my goal! Counting down to my 30th birthday where I want to start the next decade happy and healthy! Please feel free to add comments! They can be words of encouragement, helpful tips or a little banter like "hey, that snickers bar isn't going to help you to your goal"!! This blog is really for me but support is always welcome and if I can inspire someone else to get off the couch and get healthy then that is great! I know first hand how fast the pounds can creep up on you and how hard it is to first decide to make a change, find a routine that works, commit to it and accomplish it! Once I complete the goal it doesn't end there. It's time to get healthy and stay healthy!

Friday..

Well I am obviously no good at keeping up with this blog. Had a busy week with work and shoots and just could seem to find the time. I think it would be better if I posted weekly updates and maybe some blogs here and there when I have the time that way I won't feel like such a failure! lol

I thought I was doing pretty good this week, but I guess not.. I actually gained a little bit in weight and in measurements. So... a couple of things maybe I maintained but then gained a little muscle. I am actually feeling a little stronger this week. Noticing a difference especially in my upper body.  Also mother nature is about to grace me with her presence. I have never had such a close eye on my weight before so I don't know how much it fluctuates during that time to compare. How much can water weight really do to you? I definitely feeling a little mushy! lol  I don't know, Im not really sure what happened.  Hopefully once that has come and gone I will see a difference.

I have basically one more month about 35 days including today until my birthday! Need to really crack down I think if I am going to get there. This week I have a lot of miles to do! 33 miles before next weight in. And then my first 16 mile run on July 4th! I am excited and nervous about that one. The week after July 4th I will be moving up to the next level of Jillians. Also another thing that is going to help over the next 2 weeks is Steve is going out of town... While I hate when he is away I also eat better :o). He will be out of town 3 days next week and then 5 the following week. So hopefully I can shred about 4-5 pounds over the next 2 weeks! I have NEVER been good a dieting. Kinda feel like this is what that is so it's hard to really stay focused. Eating right, logging it and staying committed to it even though I want the results so bad it's still so hard! I feel myself starting to think and say "well if I don't get there by my birthday it's okay"... is that an excuse! Oh no!! lol I think keeping daily track for myself without blogging will help me. I don't think anyone really cares what I am eating everyday anyways! lol If you do please comment and I will try harder to post it, but other wise I think weekly updates will be better. For me if I can't take the time to blog then I also don't take the time to even enter the numbers. So one step at a time!! :o)

  1. I always gain about 2 pound when mother nature visits me :p but the 2 pounds seem to go away after she leaves me.

    They say right after mother nature leaves, it is the best time to lose weight... hard to lose when she is around :p believe it or not!

    Don't worry too much, you made it this far(very far!), you could be gaining some muscle weight too! :)
    It seems to get harder and harder from a certain point when you are close to your goal. Same thing happened to my hubby when he was trying to lose.... what do I know... I get tired after 10 mins of run, hahaha.
